H D Smith Barracks, Baumholder FRG

Just a quick link to a photo and a few words about H D Smith Barracks (click here), which veterans of 4/12 Infantry will all remember as a pleasantly flat oasis of sunlight and toasty weather in what was otherwise a notoriously hilly, wet and cold part of Germany.
