4/12 Inf Warriors: 1LT Jerry Kulp

I just posted a note over at the 1/39 Inf web beacon for anyone from Baumholder days. You fellows may remember 1LT Jerry Kulp. Although Jerry started out in 1/39 Inf in the mid-1980s, I'm pretty sure he ended up commanding a company with the 4/12 Inf Warriors at the start of the 1990s.

CSM Smith,

Pleasure to hear from you, and apologies for the slow reply.

Are you the same Peter Smith who was LTC Goodrich's driver? Bruce Van Hoozen sent me a photo which I'll post shortly.

By the way, the system forwards comments but hides the email, so I can't reply to you directly.

If it's you in the next photo, please let me know, either direct (matthewginn@gmail.com) or via the comments, and I'll pass the word to Bruce.

Cheers

Matt

Just found this blog after searching around the internet looking for long lost pals...

Sergeant Major Smith??? HAHAHA! Yes, he was the BC's driver. I'd love to get a hold of Peter; he and I had a good time attending a MotoGP race at Hockenheimring one year...

I served in C Company from 90-93 (2nd Platoon, Psychos)

I second that motion! Unfortunately, the software on blogger.com hides email addresses for in-bound comments, so I don't have Peter Smith's contact details. Nor for you, SSG Norrgard. But if you have access to an AKO account I bet you would find each other pretty quickly . . . just a hint.

All the best!

Matt
